Frederick Lamptey (Born April 30,1991 in Ghana) better known by his stage name Freddy Snizzle and formally Freddy S.N.I.T.C.H (Spreading New Information Through Contemporary Hip-hop) is an African rapper and singer who was once crowned the fastest rapper in Ghana on The Late Nite Celebrity Show, being able to pronounce 8-9 syllables per second. Freddy grew up in Accra area on the southern part of Ghana. He started rapping at the age of 12 but recorded his first song ''RUDE BOYS'' in 2007 at the age of 17 with his rap group whilst in Wesley Grammar High School. He was inspired by American rapper Twista and singer Akon. In 2008, Freddy formed his own rap group and named it ''THE FRESH EMCEES'' which consisted of fellow rappers like Ginger, Exquisite,Karrency and Rosby. And on 8th Of December 2010, the group released a solid EP dubbed ''NIGHT PARTY'' which made a great impact in the Ghanaian music industry. After a year, Every member of the group decided to go solo. Making Freddy Snizzle release his First official single ''I'M WAITING'' in 2012. A gospel hip-hop song which received massive airplays in Australia and Italy. He later on released singles like ''KILLING ME SOFTLY'', ''HIP-HOP Ft. Eddie Zonic from Liberia'' and ''FAT MONEY SWAG''. Freddy Snizzle has shared the same stages with great musicians like Sarkodie, D-black, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Samini and a host of great African artistes. Freddy has been on many international platforms such as interviews with Obaapa Fm in Germany and also a host of European radio stations including Hi Radio in Amsterdam and Ahenfo Radio in Denmark. Some of his hit songs included, My Days, Kakamotobi which features Afrobeats Sensation Luther, Capricorn, Praise & Birthday and a number Of good music videos on YouTube. Freddy Snizzle is currently working on his debut album which will have a taste of all genres. Including Afrobeat, Hiphop, amongst others. He also has hits such as Chidinma, Dunkule, Boss Chick, Low Key amongst others which are doing very well on the international front and in Ghana as well. Freddy Snizzle has a new joint dubbed “Higher Love” which features Ghanaian sensation Camidoh. Song produced by Camidoh and video directed By JWillz.
